Hello, my name is Paisley Jane Mattingly, and I am a mass communications student at Texas State University with an interest in crime related journalism,  the arts, and creative presentation and performance. While in college, I have developed an understanding of research and its importance, interview etiquette, digital editing, social media and creating content for different audiences. I am most interested in combining my scholarly skills with the creativity I was born with in order to  express myself authentically and tell honest and engaging stories while connecting with audiences. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy figure skating, music and cosplay, all of which have furthered my leadership and creative skills.
